ITINERARY
DAY 1 DELHI - JODHPUR
This morning you will be taken to the airport for an early morning flight to the blue-painted
city of Jodhpur on the edge of the Thar Desert. In the afternoon you head out to explore the
massive Meharnagarth Fort and its fascinating museum. Overnight is in your hotel in
Jodhpur.
DAY 2 JODHPUR - JAISALMER
You will be taken to board the overnight steam train to Jailsalmer. After freshening up at
your hotel you can head out for some sightseeing. Touring this charming 11th century city of
exquisitely carved stone architecture is like a journey back in time. You will be able to visit
some of its most famous havelis. Overnight is spent at your hotel in Jaisalmer.
DAYS 3 to 5 THAR DESERT
You begin camel trekking in the Thar Desert today. As you stroll along atop your
magnificent camel, you are accompanied by the brightly turbaned Rajput camel men who
know the desert well. During the day you will explore fascinating, isolated desert villages
while at night the Rajput camel men will entertain you with their high pitched pipes and
dancing.
DAY 6 JAISALMER
Your trek brings you back to Jaisalmer. You will be taken to your hotel and the rest of the
day is free to spend at your leisure.
DAY 7 JAISALMER - JODHPUR
The day is again free to explore the colorful bazaars and delight in the many local
handicrafts. In the evening you will be taken to the train station for the overnight journey
back to Jodhpur.
DAY 8 JODHPUR - DELHI
On arrival in Jodhpur early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight
to Delhi. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Tour ends.

Accommodation on a room-only basis.
Tented accommodation during camel trek, including three meals daily and all camping
equipment.
All transfers by road as specified, including pick-ups and drop-offs at start and end of tour.
All transfers by rail in second class air conditioned sleeper as specified: Jodhpur -
